A few facts about Evapo-Rust:

• Comes ready to use (no dilution)
• You can replace evaporative loss with high quality water (RO water)
• 1 gallon derusts approx. 300 pounds of moderately rusted steel
• Removes even heavy rust completely
• Will not remove rust stains from plastic or cloth
• Doing Production Derusting we generally use 15" of Evapo-Rust^TM in the AG tank which equates to approx. 100 gallons - that is enough to derust 30,000 lbs of moderately rusted steel and we have derusted as much as 42,000 lbs with one bath
• Works at room temp
• Works quicker with heat (120-130F)
• Works quicker with ultrasonics
• Parts should be free of dirt, oil, and grease before derusting (helps prolong bath life)
• Does not cause hydrogen embrittlement (rust removal with acid does)
• Depth of rust determines immersion time required
• Non-toxic, non-corrosive, safe on skin
• No fumes or bad odors, non-flammable, no VOC's
• Biodegradable, water soluble
• No acids, bases, solvents or other toxic ingredients
• Will not harm unrusted steel, safe on other metals
• Can be disposed of safely into sewer (check local regs)
• Will not affect plastic, PVC, Viton and most paints
• Will remove oxide type finishes (ex. blueing, browning, etc.)
