• Belt Conveyor
  

  The Hurricane Belt Conveyor parts washer can accommodate a variety of wash processes. Parts are loaded onto the conveyor belt or powered roller bed, and then sent through the cleaning process. The parts can be washed by any combination of spray cleaning, immersion, ultrasonic cleaning, and accompanied by a drying stage. The cleaning process employed by the parts washer is entirely determined by your manufacturing needs. Guide rail systems control the parts on the belt as they travel through the parts washer, or the parts can travel through the parts washer in baskets. Conveyor speeds are variable in order to match your required production rate. Belting or rollers are available in galvanized steel, plastic, and stainless steel in a wide range of mesh/roller sizes.

• Indexing Fixture
  

  The Hurricane Indexing Fixture washer can be customized for a variety of applications that require your parts to remain in a fixed state. The parts washer indexes station to station, through specific spray configurations to address particular cleanliness issues. Using the Indexing Fixture parts washer allows you to resolve hard to clean problems in your parts; such as blind holes, packed in chips, or areas inaccessible to other parts washers. The parts washer indexes through any combination of spray cleaning and drying stages, depending on your needs. Indexing dwell times and speeds are variable, to match the required production rates or cleanliness requirements.

• Rotary Drum
  

  The Hurricane Rotary Drum parts washer is designed for washing parts in a batch and/or flow-through cleaning process. The rotary drum parts washer pushes parts through the washer via an auger welded inside of a tube or drum. The rotary drum parts washer is capable of submerging and spraying parts inside the rotary drum to provide thorough cleaning of chips and oil. The chips and oil are removed from blind holes, through holes, and pockets in the part. The rotary drum parts washer is available in expanded metal, perforated stainless steel, as well as wedgewire for smaller parts. The rotary drums can be coated in plastic for delicate parts.

• Rotating Table
  

  The Hurricane Rotary table washer is another versatile parts washer from the Hurricane line. The parts are loaded onto a table, or basket, through the front opening door of the parts washer. Fixtures can be installed in the parts washer, on the table, if parts need to be kept in a certain orientation. Your parts ride on the table as it circles, exposing them to wash headers that reach over the parts and down the sides. Spray can also be delivered through the table inside the parts washer. Rinse stages can be activated after a set length of time to allow for draining of the wash fluid. Drying stages can also be added to the parts washer, allowing your parts to be blown off and dried on the rotating table after cleaning.

• Rotating Basket
  

  The Hurricane Rotary Basket parts washer allows you to load parts into a basket or a fixture. The basket or fixture is rotated under a spray and can also be submerged in the cleaning solution for further cleaning. Submerging the parts enables the Rotary Basket parts washer to effectively clean blind holes and passages present in the part. Wash and rinse stages can also be added, as can forced air and/or heated air drying inside the part washer cabinet.

• Robotic Transfer Cell
  

  Midbrook can provide a cleaning and drying cell featuring a robot and custom designed end of arm tooling and stage specific small cabinets. Robotic cells are designed for critical clean and/or deburring applications. Parts such as engine blocks, engine heads or crankcases are picked up from a feed conveyor leading from a machining cell and then transferred from the cell load station to a wash station for the available cycle time. After the part has been washed it is then rinsed for the same amount of time and subsequently delivered to and processed through a blow-off station, chiller station and unload station.

• Single Point Load/Unload
  

  In the single point load and unload parts washer, your parts are grasped by a robotic arm or gantry system. They are then automatically loaded into a part specific fixture, rinsed, and dried in the parts washer. Parts can be transferred from one stage to another by the robotic or gantry load system if the process requires individual pieces of cleaning equipment. Spray patterns are customized to the specific parts and your specific cleaning requirements. The robotic arm or gantry system installed on the parts washer unloads your parts are cleaning and drying, and places them into position for the next operation in your manufacturing process.

• Overhead Monorail
  

  The Hurricane overhead conveyor parts washer is designed for continuous, high volume, heavy duty parts washing operations. This part washer is equally functional as part an in-line system or as a self-contained, single operator continuous loop system. The mechanical handling of the overhead conveyor parts washer consists of a return to operator overhead conveyor and an enclosed track. The parts washer conveyor is equipped with hangers to carry parts of all configurations and sizes.

• High Pressure Debur
  

  The Midbrook Hurricane high pressure water parts washers can give you the flexibility to “super clean” parts as well as physically debur them – all in the same part washing process. Using up to approximately 2000 psi, the high pressure parts washer will clean without damaging the substrate of most materials. At pressures over 5000 psi, the high pressure parts washer will debur loose fragments of material that remain from machining, cutting, or stamping during the manufacturing process. Predictable and repeatable deburr actions can be engineered into the hydro deburr process. These parts washers eliminate the need for deburr brushes, files, and manual removal of unwanted material.
